DB Cargo Shed and Parapet Wall; Air Quality page update; 12 month forward look for construction works in Camden

DB Cargo Shed and Parapet Wall

As part of the ongoing work to prepare for the demolition of the DB Cargo Shed – a disused railway carriage maintenance depot located in the cutting to the west of the West Coast Main Line and north of Euston Station, structural surveys have been carried out on the parapet wall on Park Village East.

These surveys have shown that the wall is structurally unstable and therefore needs to be removed so that the demolition of the DB Cargo Shed and future works in the cutting can be safely undertaken. More information about this and other works taking place in the area are available here , including information about a local community drop-in event where staff will be available to discuss the works.

Air Quality page update:

HS2 commissioned Kings College London to complete an independent research study on construction dust site monitoring. You can read the report on our Air Quality page here.

The latest 12 month forward look for construction works in Camden is available here.
