Where : The Collective Temperance Hospital, 110 Hampstead Rd, Euston, NW1 2LS
Time : 8am - 11am
What is happening? In conjunction with the Metropolitan Police Cycle Task Force, London Borough of Camden and our contractor Keltbray, we aim to raise awareness for vulnerable road users about the dangers of sharing London roads with construction traffic.
We will be running another Exchanging Places cycle safety event in support of this aim. Exchanging Places is an award-winning programme that gives cyclists the opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat of an HGV to see for themselves how difficult it can be to see a cyclist riding close to the lorry.
Experienced traffic police officers will be on hand to offer guidance on how this type of collision often happens and the various ways to avoid them.
In addition to this free bike marking and bike maintenance will be offered at the event.
This is a drop in event and no appointment is necessary. We hope you are able to join us on the day.
