News on HS2 in Camden

Euston Road Retained Cut and Hampstead Road works:

We previously told you about our preparatory works to set-up Hampstead Road and Euston Throat Retained Cut worksites. This is an update on upcoming works at Hampstead Road and Euston Throat Retained Cut worksites. Within the worksite, we will build a haul road which will be in use for extended periods during our works. During periods where the haul road is in use, lorries will enter and exit directly from and onto Hampstead Road, reducing construction traffic on nearby residential streets. We will maximise the use of the haul road as much as possible.

Park Village East surveys:

We will carry out ground penetrating radar surveys along Park Village East from Granby Terrace to Parkway. The surveys, which will be done in core hours, require footpath and lane closures and parking bay suspensions in six phases moving north from Granby Terrace bridge. We will remove traffic management as we complete each phase to mitigate impacts to parking bays and the road as much as possible.
