HS2 Works Notification: Prince Albert Road Closure from 19 October and Update on Adelaide Road Works

Construction of the vehicle holding area is in progress including installing drainage and a mammal tunnel, as well as mechanical and electrical works. From October to December, we plan to install a sewer connection and undertake kerbing and pavement work. This will require a road closure on Prince Albert Road from 19 to 30 October and a lane closure from 2 to 27 November. A traffic diversion will be in place during the road closure which avoids the Outer Circle as well as most residential streets where possible and we will ensure access to residential properties is maintained at all times.

We will also construct concrete slabs on site and carry out utilities investigations at Parkway requiring footpath and lane closures from 5 to 16 October.

For further information please see our works notification.

Due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19 on our supply chain, the current temporary lane closures and traffic lights on Adelaide Road will remain in place until late October, and works to remove the vegetation and trees in the site have been re-sequenced and will now take place in November. Works will also take place to install welfare units within the Adelaide Road site boundary from 30 September for up to 4 days.

For further information please see our works notification.
