Network Rail night time works on 14 and 15 November
Network Rail would like to remind residents about upcoming work, detailed in the pre-notification letter dated 17 August . During the nights of 14 and 15 November, by Hampstead Road, Network Rail will be removing track, burning rail and installing sleepers using burning equipment and road rail vehicles. This work is to help prepare the way for high speed rail.
Due to the nature of the equipment and machinery that will be used, some noise will be unavoidable. However, every effort will be made to reduce disturbance to residents. Staff working on site are also regularly reminded of the importance of working considerately in the local area.
For the safety of staff working on site, this work must be carried out at night when the power to the overhead lines has been switched off and trains are not running.
If you have any queries about this work, please contact the Network Rail 24-hour helpline on 03457 11 41 41 or email NRHS2@networkrail.co.uk. Please note, this email address is only monitored during normal office hours.
