HS2 works notification: SCS site cabins delivery, until 22 June includes weekend 19&20 June; Hampstead Road central reservation removal, 2 July to 30 August; TW night time work on Albany Street, 5-7 July

Weekend works in the Euston Throat – 19 and 20 June

We will continue site cabin deliveries over the weekend, the northern end of Stanhope Street will remain closed from 8am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Works target to complete these deliveries by Tuesday 22 June. We apologise for inconvenience caused and sincerely thank local residents and the community for their patience during this period.

Removal of Hampstead Road central reserve – 2 July to 30 August

  • Removal of the Hampstead Road central reserve required to enable a right-hand turn out of SCS worksite haul road towards Euston Road, preventing congestion at Harrington Square Gardens;
  • Works will be carried out in 3 phases involving lane closures and bus stop suspensions;
  • For safety, we will install traffic management during overnight shifts on 2 and 31 July;
  • We will also repaint the road markings and white lines during overnight shifts on the 16, 17 & 18 August

    Thames Water night time work on Albany street - 5-7 July

    Thames Water will need to carry some minor work on the manhole in the road opposite the Barracks on Albany Street. Work will take place over two nights on Monday 5 July and Tuesday 6 July, completing in the morning of Wednesday 7 July. The work should not cause any disruption as it will be carried out within the manhole.
