News on HS2 in Camden

Sewer construction works started on 12 October 2020 on Harrington Street. The works will continue in phases until summer 2021 to maintain access to the street buildings.

The programme of works includes construction and connection of three manholes: a 3m diameter manhole at the junction with Varndell Street and 2.4m and 2.1m diameter manholes at the junction with Mackworth Street. In order to carry out excavation works safely we will need to close the west side footpath in each location of works. The east side of the road will be used as a safe running lane for the machinery and emergency services.
