News on HS2 in Camden

Trial of vibratory sheet piling south of Mornington Street Bridge, daytime 18 and/or 19 February.

On 18 and/or 19 February we will be carrying out a trial of vibratory sheet piling ahead of the main sheet piling works planned for the 24/7 Network Rail closure (2 April until 17 May). The trial will help us identify measures to reduce noise and vibration where possible during the Network Rail closure. For more information please see notification . Granby Terrace Bridge deconstruction, weekend and 24/7 works, March to May.

To make room for the new railway we will expand the bridge across the railway cutting. In March we will start removing sections of Granby Terrace Bridge from within our worksite. A crane will be onsite over the weekends of 1-2 May, 8-9 May, 12-13 June, 19-20 June. We will also bring in three large loads between 10 and 12 March.

Due to the location beside the live railway tracks, some of our works will carried out overnight during Network Rail closures on weekends and in two six-week periods from 2 April to 17 May and 17 July to 31 August. Please see notification.

Update on works to the Vehicle Holding Area.

In March, we will install permanent traffic lights on Prince Albert Road at the Vehicle Holding Area entrance. From 1 March until these lights are in place, we will use temporary traffic management to assist vehicles entering and exiting. Please see notification.

Utility works at Parkway, Albert Street and various locations in the Camden Cutting area and Regent's Park Estate. March to May.

We will carry out CCTV surveys on Parkway, 8 to 9 March and 12 to 13 April. From March to May we will carry out trial holes within the road on Parkway and Albert Street. Please see notification .

We will carry out CCTV drainage surveys between 1 to 6 March and 6 to 8 April on Park Village East, Mornington Terrace, Mornington Place, Mornington Crescent and Clarkson Row. We will carry out two trial holes within the planter on Park Village East, 8 to 12 March. We will install ground water monitoring equipment within the footway and carriageway on Park Village East, 8 March to 29 May. Please see notification .

Between 1 and 3 March and 5 to 6 April, we will carry out CCTV surveys of utilities on Stanhope Street and Augustus Street. Please see notification.
