News on HS2 in Camden

Update on track-level weekend works in Euston Approaches, January & February 2021.

Overnight activities will continue on weekends in January and February next to Network Rail tracks near Hampstead Road, Granby Terrace and Mornington Street bridges. These works will be carried out between Saturdays 10pm to Sundays 12pm each weekend.

We will carry out track-level visual inspections and surveys of the rail assets and retaining walls, install monitoring equipment, continue ground investigations and install hoarding between our worksite and the rail tracks. These works are carried out at night, along with planned Network Rail works during track closures for safe working. Lighting will not be intrusive and will only be used at each works location. We do not expect the works to be noisy and we will take all measures necessary to minimise the impact of our works on local residents.

Further drainage surveys on Adelaide Road, 10 - 12 February 2021.

We will be carrying out further drainage surveys on Adelaide Road from 10 to 12 February 2021. Each survey is planned to take place in one overnight shift from 9pm to 6am in order to minimise disruption to the road network. There will be overnight lane closures and parking bay suspensions, but we will keep disruption to a minimum. Please see notification for more details . We have been carrying out low level vegetation clearance within the site and had planned to start tree removal works from January 2021. Works to remove further vegetation and trees within the site have been re-scheduled and will now take place from February 2021. Our works do not include removal of vegetation or trees within the Adelaide Nature Reserve. Please see the update notification .
