News on HS2 in Camden

HS2 works update: Works in Euston Throat worksite, July to November; Onsite weekend utility tests, 17 to 18 July; Construction vehicles temporarily use Stanhope Street site access; 26 July to 6 August; Hampstead Road works, July-August; Prince Albert Street and Parkway works, 23 to 31 July.

Works in the Euston Throat worksite – July to November

From 22 July until the end of August, we will be breaking down the concrete working platform we use for piling, to make way for excavation works.

From Saturday 17 July 8am to 5pm and Sunday 18 July 10am to 4pm, we will be testing the new pipework installed onsite.

From 26 July to 6 August we need to temporarily close our main site access on Hampstead Road, all construction vehicle will be diverted to Stanhope Street site access via Robert Street - Stanhope Street.

Hampstead Road works update

Ongoing works to remove Hampstead Road central reserve until 30 August.

From 12 July to 21 August, sewer pipeline installation works across Hampstead Road in phases and conjunction with central reserve removal works.

Traffic restrictions in the junction with Varndell Street, access/egress via Robert Street - Stanhope Street.

Works on Prince Albert Street and Parkway

From 23 to 27 July, works will be carried out to do final adjustments to the position of the traffic lights and remove the old markings on Prince Albert Road.

From 8pm on 30 July to 5am on 31 July, overnight CCTV survey of the sewer system beneath the section of the road opposite properties at 117 to 129 Parkway.

Thames Water night time work on Albany Street

Work has been planned to take place over two nights on 5 and 6 July, but were delayed and now will be carried out over two nights on Monday 12 July and Tuesday 13 July, completing in the morning of Wednesday 14 July.
