Network Rail HS2 enabling works schedule amendment - 24th/25th February - Granby Terrace Bridge

Due to inclement weather conditions, Network Rail have rescheduled some of the works which were notified on 31 January, by news alert here. Rescheduled works are now due to take place this weekend (24-25 February) between the hours of 8pm on Saturday and 12pm on Sunday. Please accept Network Rail’s apologies for the short notice regarding these activities.

The work involves the removal of some equipment and bagged waste from the Camden cutting area via the use of a mobile road crane which will be within the HS2 site compound on Granby Terrace Bridge (see map below). A crane mat will be used to minimise noise.

The work will be carried out as quickly and carefully as possible to reduce disturbance and disruption. Monitoring and close supervision will be in place to ensure the safety of residents and the general public. Whilst workers will need to communicate with each other during the work, they have been instructed to keep noise to a minimum as far as possible.

We will keep you informed with further alerts should weather conditions lead to delay or rescheduling.

Network Rail will do all they can to ensure their work does not disrupt residents and businesses. Please do not hesitate to contact Network Rail if you have any additional questions or concerns. Please visit www.networkrail.co.uk or telephone the 24-Hour National Helpline on 03457 11 41 41 .

You can also email NRHS2@networkrail.co.uk. Please note that this email account is not monitored 24hrs a day, but will be picked up by the community engagement team during normal office hours.
