New ground investigation sites - Cobourg St , Drummond St, Stephenson Way.
New Sites –
Cobourg Street and Drummond Street; work is expected to start on 24 May, and to continue for approximately 2 weeks. Five parking bays on Cobourg St will be suspended opposite Calumet Photographic Shop. The pavement width on Drummond Street will be reduced (an area of 5m by 2m alongside the old underground station). Stephenson Way; work is expected to start on 22 May, and to continue for approximately 3 weeks. Six parking bays will be suspended (ref. 13550). Disabled parking bay ref. 136 will remain open. The pavement alongside the wire fence will be closed with a pedestrian diversion in place.What we are doing:
All works are expected to take place week days only between 8am and 6pm with an additional half hour at the start and again at the end of the day to set up and clear away. The work will involve digging an inspection pit and using equipment to drill a borehole to take samples or measurements. Once the work is complete, our contractor will reinstate the area to match existing condition. We recognsie the disturbance this work can create and apologies in advance.
