New Ground Investigation Sites – Oval Road and Cardington Street/Melton Street
New Sites –
Oval Road site, located opposite to 1c; work is expected to begin the week of 15th May for approximately 3 weeks. The site will require the suspension of 5 ‘pay as you park’ parking bays for the period of the works. Cardington Street / Melton Street on the Euston Station side; work is expected to begin the week of 22nd May for approximately 6 weeks. The site will require the suspension of 3 separate groups of parking bays. Temporary traffic lights will be in place as well as a reduction in the width of the pavement alongside Euston Station. What we are doing:
All works are expected to take place week days only between 8am and 6pm with an additional half hour at the start and again at the end of the day to set up and clear away. The work will involve digging an inspection pit and using equipment to drill a borehole to take samples or measurements. Once the work is complete, our contractor will reinstate the area to match existing condition. We recognsie the disturbance this work can create and apologies in advance.
