New temporary Euston station taxi rank opening 6 January

From 6 January there will be a significant change in the area around the front of Euston Station as a new interim taxi rank is opened and the construction compound is extended along Melton Street.

Over the weekend (5 & 6 January), HS2 will open the relocated taxi rank at the front of the Podium building in Euston Square Gardens East. This will replace the existing taxi rank located in the basement of Euston Station, which will be decommissioned.

A combined team of Network Rail, HS2, CSJV (HS2 construction contractor), Transport for London (TfL) and London Borough of Camden will be working to ensure the new taxi rank operates effectively, minimising disruption to the travelling public. Network Rail will be providing marshals to assist customers to and from the relocated taxi rank, along with their mobility assistance services which are currently provided at the existing taxi rank. CSJV will be providing Customer Experience Representatives for a minimum of two-week period to assist the Network Rail marshals. TfL will monitor any impact on Euston Road.
