Non-intrusive utility scanning surveys

As part of developing the route design of the HS2 high speed railway, we are carrying out non-intrusive utility scanning next week. This type of survey helps us to understand what utilities and obstructions are beneath the ground before we undertake further ground investigation. If you would like to know more about what this kind of survey entails, please visit www.gov.uk/hs2 and download our ground investigation guide.

All public vehicle and pedestrian access will be maintained but there will be some parking bays suspended along the roads where the work will take place.
