News on HS2 in Camden

Drummond Street

Further to our news alert that we sent yesterday , the section of Drummond Street between Cobourg Street and Melton Street will now close on Sunday 28 October. The south section of Cobourg street will be reopened.

This change is following discussions with Camden Council, and is so that traffic can be monitored on Sunday, reducing potential disruption on Monday morning when traffic will be busier.

A temporary road closure of the north section of Cobourg Street, between Drummond Street and Starcross Street, will be in place between 5 November and 23 November. This is for UK Power Networks works and kerb widening works at the junctions with both Drummond Street and Starcross Street.

Mackworth Street

From Monday 29 October utilities works will start in Mackworth Street, within the Regents Park Estate. The works were due to start in late September and the main site compound has already been set up. The pavement next to the compound will also be temporarily closed to support the works.
