Updates to previously issued notifications –

  • Darwin Court on Gloucester Avenue - The work is now due to commence the week beginning 15th May for approximately 4 weeks.
  • Fargeon House Service Area – this will require the suspension of all car parking bays. The drilling is programmed to commence the week beginning 17th May for approximately 4 weeks.
  • Fellows Road near Hancock Nunn House – The works are now not expected to complete until the week ending 9th June.
  • What we are doing:

All works are expected to take place week days only between 8am and 6pm with an additional half hour at the start and again at the end of the day to set up and clear away. The work will involve digging an inspection pit and using equipment to drill a borehole to take samples or measurements. Once the work is complete, our contractor will reinstate the area to match existing condition. We recognsie the disturbance this work can create and apologies in advance.

    What to expect

  • Background noise from digging trial pits, drilling boreholes and the use of water pumps
  • Hoardings around the site
  • Contractor vehicle movements to and from the site
  • Traffic management systems when the site is located on the public highway
