News on HS2 in Camden

This weekend we will be installing road humps as a traffic calming measure on Drummond Street; between Cobourg Street and Melton Street. We will close one lane only for an hour on Thursday (21 September) to carry out preparatory works ahead of the main weekend works.

On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 September the humps will be put in place. The work will take several hours during which a full road closure will be in place and traffic will be diverted via Cobourg Street and Starcross Street. We will work as quickly as we can and re-open the road once the work is complete.

These works have been agreed with Camden Council following concerns about vehicle speeds and we have been speaking directly with the businesses and residents on Drummond Street to explain these works.
